Based in Worcester County, Massachusetts, for 21 years LDMTS has been one of the leading sources for medical transcription in the area and has been gradually expanding throughout the country. As medical records technology and patient protection laws have changed, we have worked harder than ever to create medical records that are accessible and clear to all the facets of successful medical practices - for the office staff, billing services, nurses and physicians.
Our
medical language specialists and transcriptionists, editors and quality
assurance personnel are exclusively based in the United States.
All LDMTS staff are required to have extensive training and experience. We pride ourselves on our top-notch skills and focus on quality, efficiency and accuracy which leads to our fast turnaround time. We are highly skilled in current technology as well as knowledge of the medical information we transcribe and we have the ability to transcribe dictation of varying levels of difficulty and specialty.
Lynn Dalbeck Medical Transcription Service takes advantage of new technology to make sure our clients get the best service. This means a significant annual investment in computers, dictation equipment and communication. It means our clients can call our toll-free digital system all hours of the day and night and trust that our redundant computerized system will make their secure dictation immediately available to a transcriber. It also means we have the facility to continue accepting cassettes as a method of dictation and can charge the same low rate for that service. Our system allows us to rapidly and efficiently transcribe reports for all our customers.
Who is Lynn Dalbeck?
A native of Spencer, MA, Lynn formed close ties to UMass Memorial Hospital while working there as a medical secretary/EMG technician. She founded LDMTS in 1986 following the birth of her daughter. With the help of her husband, Bob, she built and ran the business solo for 8 years.
The expansion of LDMTS began in 1994 with the hiring of the first transcriptionist. The company has seen steady growth since that time as more clients and staff have come on board.
Lynn purchased the company's first digital system in 1999. This system allows doctors to call in and dictate directly to the computer so that specialists can get to work on transcription immediately.
At this point, Lynn is responsible for managing LDMTS and has an active role in providing customer support and auditing reports and transcripts. Over the past year, Lynn has branched out, taking the company into the next exciting phase of the medical transcription profession: editing. This has allowed clientelle expansion and medical transcriptionist diversity.
The business expansion has led Lynn to hire an office assistant. Her niece, Jennifer Hearn, is responsible for pickup, delivery and distribution of tapes and transcripts from clients' offices on a daily basis. Jennifer also audits and edits LDMTS reports, and performs various office tasks.
