Based just north of Worcester in Princeton, MA, for 25 years LDMTS has been one of the leading sources for medical transcription in the area and has been expanding throughout the country. As medical records technology and patient protection laws have changed, we have worked harder than ever to create medical records that are accessible and clear to all the facets of successful medical practices - for the office staff, billing services, nurses and physicians.
Our
medical language specialists and transcriptionists, editors and quality
assurance personnel are exclusively based in the United States.
All LDMTS staff are required to have extensive training and experience. We pride ourselves on our top-notch skills and focus on quality, efficiency and accuracy which leads to our fast turnaround time. We are highly skilled in current technology as well as knowledge of the medical information we transcribe and we have the ability to transcribe dictation of varying levels of difficulty and specialty.
Lynn Dalbeck Medical Transcription & Editing Service takes advantage of new technology to make sure our clients get the best service. Who is Lynn Dalbeck?
A native of Spencer, MA, Lynn formed close ties to UMass Memorial Hospital while working there as a medical secretary/EMG technician. She founded LDMTS in 1986 following the birth of her daughter. With the help of her husband, Bob, she built and ran the business solo for eight years.
The expansion of LDMTS began in 1994 with the hiring of the first transcriptionist. The company has seen steady growth since that time as more clients and staff have come on board.
Lynn purchased the company's first digital system in 1999. This system allows doctors to call in and dictate directly to the computer so that specialists can get to work on transcription immediately.
Being in business for 25 years has given Lynn an appreciation of all aspects of medical transcription. She is an active owner who is extensively involved in the company from management to customer relations to the transcription and auditing of reports. In 2007, Lynn branched out, taking the company into the next exciting phase of the medical transcription profession: editing. This has allowed clientele diversity and medical transcriptionist expansion.
In 2009, Lynn took on a new challenge. She accepted an adjunct instructor position at Quinsigamond Community College where she is teaching Medical Machine Transcription. This latest endeavor allows Lynn the opportunity to share her many years of knowledge with others interested in this field.
